Wright's Dairy & Bakery has let every single one of their bakers go on vacation. At the same time. The nerve!

The shelves are empty. There's one table of leftovers near the register. I grabbed the last two bear claws and ran.

I needed to order a cake, for a party I'm having this weekend, to celebrate three different things for three different people. There will be no cake.

It would've been a white cake, with chocolate pudding in the middle, and real frosting on the outside, and it would've said "Happy Happy Happy," one for each person.

Wright's has no equal - no other cake will do.

I don't want one from somewhere else, I want this kind, and that's it!

Senator Al Franken has proposed a "Pay for War" resolution that would require Congress to raise taxes and/or cut spending before authorizing new acts of war, so that American foreign adventures can't contribute to the national debt.
